Up North.

Its been a while since I last posted. Kx asked me why I never post about the daily live in Lund, well I can only reply him, ' 'cos Lund is boring and there's no live here...' :P

Ironically, the only time life seems worth living for this exchange to Sweden, is probably getting out of Sweden. :P. A couple of weeks back, I chose to give Sweden's clubbing a go thinking that how bad can going to a disco be. Regardless of how boring daily live can be in Sweden, I'm sure a disco will be at the very least, crowded, noisy and happening. Paid like 320kronas for this road trip to Goteborg(2nd largest city in Sweden after Stockholm, which was also a flop), which supposedly includes a brief tour and entrance to the club. Guess what, the tour SUX...they brought up to see some dumb animals and it rained all the way. When midnight finally arrived, we arrived at the club, hoping that the wait was worthwhile afterall. Hell i was in for a shock. The freaking club, was with a pretty huge dance area, COULDN'T EVEN FILL HALF ITSELF UP. MUSIC SUX...CROWD LOOKS 'DURH'...worse of all...there's this faggot who came to me insisting to dance with me.....he became really touchy...faggot..if its in Singapore, I would have treated him a few punch....crap... SO MUCH FOR GOTEBORG.

And then there was school, I tried my best to tie up all the issues in my design finish cadding the final model after the last interim crit session. The crit was apparently quite good and the tutors said they have nothing much to pick about. So I juz made a few amendments which they pointed up to me and showed the tutor yesterday. Guess what, she started mentioning about the need to include the 'DETOX AREA' before anyone can enter a kitchen to prepare the food....and you need a cloak hanging area with lockers (makes sense since its cold here), a freaking toilet juz for the people working inside...and A SHOWER SPACE...FOR FUG... I tried to argue that mine was juz a small cafe serving really simple sandwiches and its a little too much to include all these amenities. Then she started saying, I'm sure its the same in Singapore and Neufert shows similar requirement. I was pretty sure Neufert wouldn't be that DUMB and OBVIOUSLY, she hasn't been to Singapore.( Johnny would reply CHINA of course..:P) And so I went to the library and dug out Neufert and show her that there's no need...then she started saying its a Swedish requirement.....OK....fine...Seriously I have nothing against their 'DETOX' regulation but PLEASE....you could have told me like during the crit so that I can make the changes before I spend so much time to cad the final thing...now that she insisted those inclusion and SUGGESTED a few more....fug...I CAN RECAD IT AGAIN....wth....spoil my mood for the trip man..really...

Anyway, I'll be traveling up north to Kiruna today hoping to see that mystical northern light, Aurora Borealis. It was the main reason I chose to come to Sweden so it better dun disappoint me. The trip will include activities like skiing, dog sledge rides and sauna in the freezing weather of northern Sweden. I'm giving this place a last chance with this last place I'm visiting within Sweden. Going to take a train all the way up...crap..its like 24 or 27 hours of train ride and we are going to SIT all the way for the trip up....hoho...hopefully we have ample rest before the tour in Kiruna begins. I really hated those stupid ride on trains and senseless walking during most of the trips as they tire you up and you end up not enjoying the rest of the trip. Lets just hope this trip is not that bad. Wish me luck in seeing the Aurora so I can bring back nice photos to show you guys. Will be back on Sunday Night, till then cya!

Let it snow, let it snow...

And so I woke up this morning to see the sign of winter, snow. Its been almost 3 months since I've arrived in Lund. I'm quite fortunate to be here during this period of time I should say, cos I got to see and experience almost all 4 seasons within this short period of time. Time for some winter photo taking. Will post more photos of this freezing land.
